Hello Dawg Fans!
We are approaching fall and are less than a month away from
fall practice. Our staff is excited to
work with our new team that will feature a core of familiar faces with several
additions.
2025 season recap
The 2025 season was a journey that featured some exciting
highlights. Picked last in the Big Ten preseason
polls, the team won seven Big Ten series to finish 5th in 17 team
league. Max Banks was selected to the All
Conference Team and then in the 12th round of the Major League Draft
by the Chicago White Sox.
The pitching staff led the way finishing second in the
conference in ERA while all eight every day position players who played improved
their OPS from their Division 1 season in 2024.
Most notably the team finished with a top 75 RPI for just the second
time since 2016.
Fall Alumni Night
Friday, September 26 the program will host an alumni
targeted at bringing former players and their families back to Husky Ballpark. The evening will feature dinner while the
team is scrimmaging, a meet the team segment, and then a chance for alumni to
come on the field to play catch with their families, kids to run the bases, and
then a batting practice for the alums to relive their glory days.
This is the Friday before the Ohio State football game and
we look to start a tradition of creating a memorable experience for our alums
and their families. If you are able to
attend please RSVP to Director of Baseball Operations, Scott Junck at sjunck@uw.edu.
Fall Prospect Camp
This fall the Huskies will be hosting a prospect camp
October 18-19. This camp is a great
opportunity for prospects who are 2029 high school graduates and older to work with
our coaches and experience UW Baseball. More
information and registration is available at UWBaseballCamps.com.

provide full coverage of tuition, room, and board the way so many volleyball,
softball, basketball, and football players have experienced for years.
If you have a business who would be interested in having a
Husky Baseball player endorse your product or service, this is now a
permissible way to provide our players additional compensation to while
elevating the profile of your business.
